Timothy Ryan Day is author of the novel Big Sky (Adelaide Books, 2020), the book Shakespeare and the Evolution of the Human Umwelt (Routledge 2021), and the poetry collection Green and Grey (Lemon Street Press, 2019). He teaches Ecocriticism, Shakespeare, and writing at Saint Louis University’s Madrid Campus.
His work sits at the juncture of the creative and the scholarly, exploring the places where nature meets culture. His writing has appeared in Green Letters, The Toucan, La Revista Pan, and The Nervous Breakdown.
He was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Chicago. He has lived in Texas, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, China, and Arizona. He currently lives in Spain.
